National law firm Moray & Agnew has elevated four lawyers to more senior positions, including two to its partnership.
Danielle Sweeney and George Chadwick (both pictured) have been promoted to the partnership of Moray & Agnew.
Mr Chadwick’s experience comprises defending professional indemnity claims against a wide range of professionals on behalf of insurer clients and providing insurance coverage advice and acts on behalf of a range of individuals involved in professional indemnity disputes, including accountants, pharmacists, solicitors, real estate agents, engineers, architects, valuers, councillors, and land and building surveyors.
Elsewhere, Yianni Koulouris (construction, Melbourne) and Tayla Maclachlan (liability, Brisbane) have been promoted to senior associate.
The promotions are effective as of 1 January 2024.
The news follows the firm’s naming of a new managing partner for its Canberra office in November, its appointment of Cornwall’s head of commercial litigation and insolvency as a partner for its Melbourne office in late October, and its promotion of seven to partner in May.
The firm now boasts 105 partners among its more than 700 staff across its offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Newcastle, Perth, and Cairns.
Moray & Agnew national managing partner Geoff Connellan said: “Congratulations to these four lawyers.
“I am pleased we are able to promote some of the great talent we have and recognise them for looking after our clients so well.”
