Former Sportsbet head of legal joins Addisons
Addisons has welcomed a new sports, gambling and media rights lawyer to the team, who joins the firm after most recently being the head of legal at Sportsbet.

In a move effective from Monday, 4 December, Lachlan Gepp joins Addisons as special counsel after working in the sports and gambling sectors in Australia for a number of years.
His expertise spans intellectual property, major broadcasting and technology arrangements, regulatory compliance and enforcement, across the sporting, gaming and online wagering sectors.
Commenting on the new appointment, Addisons partner Jamie Nettleton said: “We are very pleased that Lachlan has joined our team at Addisons. Lachlan has significant legal and industry expertise in the sports and gambling sectors in Australia, with extensive experience in IP, technology, enforcement and broadcasting.”

Lauren is a journalist at Lawyers Weekly and graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism from Macleay College. Prior to joining Lawyers Weekly, she worked as a trade journalist for media and travel industry publications and Travel Weekly. Originally born in England, Lauren enjoys trying new bars and restaurants, attending music festivals and travelling. She is also a keen snowboarder and pre-pandemic, spent a season living in a French ski resort.
