National law firm Moray & Agnew has appointed Cornwalls’ head of commercial litigation and insolvency as its newest partner in Melbourne.
Radhika Kanhai (pictured) has joined Moray & Agnew, where she is set to “play an important role” in the firm’s insolvency and restructuring practice.
Ms Kanhai was most recently a partner at Cornwalls for over eight years, including more than seven years as its head of commercial litigation and insolvency.
She will be based in Moray & Agnew’s Melbourne office.
The news follows the firm’s naming of seven new partners, in May of this year.
Speaking about the appointment, Moray & Agnew Melbourne managing partner Bill Papastergiadis said: “We’re delighted that Radhika is joining our firm.”
“Radhika is a highly skilled litigator, and her contribution will be invaluable to the continued success of our commercial litigation and insolvency group,” he noted.
“Our already significant commercial litigation capabilities were bolstered with the addition of a litigation team in late 2022, and with the arrival of Radhika and her team, we are even more of a formidable presence in this area.”
