Ms Siddique (pictured) will serve as a director on a part-time basis and will be responsible for national and international business development across diverse industries and sectors.

She brings, Metisphere said in a statement, extensive international and military leadership experience, global networks, and a values-centred approach to executing Metisphere’s vision to be a global leader in people-focused solutions and cultural change.

“The human rights and criminal lawyer, author and international speaker is sought by global companies for her expertise in values-based leadership, resilience training, cultural change, executive mentoring, coaching and strategic development,” it noted.

In executing Metisphere’s strategic priorities, the focus of her consulting services will be in the areas of human rights and social impact, people-centric values-based leadership, resilience, diversity and inclusion, and cultural change, the business outlined.

Ms Siddique appeared on The Lawyers Weekly Show in early 2020 to discuss how trauma has informed her views on the importance of legal service and also how lawyers needed to lead during the age of COVID-19.

In 2021, she was the keynote speaker at Lawyers Weekly’s Corporate Counsel Summit, discussing how to lead with resilience and perspective.

Speaking about her new role, Ms Siddique said: “I’m delighted to be able to bring my 25 years’ experience as both a humanitarian and a professional speaker to Metisphere, as well as the good faith I have worked hard to build over that time.”

“As a director of the company, the team and I can now offer longer-term programs and evidence-based diagnostic services, something I was not able to deliver as a sole business owner.”
