National law firm Piper Alderman has appointed a partner for its projects, infrastructure and construction team, who will be based in its Perth office.
Nick Foulkes (pictured) has joined Piper Alderman, bringing over 20 years of experience, providing advice and solutions to clients concerning legal and commercial business issues, including in respect of contracts, tenders, corporate governance and compliance for the firm’s national projects, infrastructure and construction team.
Most recently, Mr Foulkes was the founder and legal practitioner director of boutique firm Alaris, and he has also spent time in-house and at fellow BigLaw firm Herbert Smith Freehills.
Speaking about his new role, Mr Foulkes said that he is “delighted” to be joining Piper Alderman.
“The firm is innovative and ambitious, recognised publicly for its client service and has strength in depth across the country,” he said.
“I am looking forward to being part of the team and contributing to its future success.”
Piper Alderman’s head of Perth office, Shane Entriken, added: “Our Perth office continues to grow — it is now double the size it was two years ago.”
“Nick’s appointment strengthens our local expertise in an area that is growing and has been very strong for the firm nationally.”
