Colin Biggers & Paisley names new CFO
National law firm Colin Biggers & Paisley has appointed a new chief financial officer, who previously served as the head of finance at fellow Australian BigLaw firm Lander & Rogers.
Jiyoung Park has joined Colin Biggers & Paisley, in its Melbourne office, as its new CFO.
Ms Park brings more than two decades of experience in professional services both domestically and internationally, the national firm said in a statement, and will have responsibility for all aspects of financial strategy, financial operations and the performance of the finance function at the practice.
Most recently, Ms Park was the head of finance at Lander & Rogers, a role she was in for just over one year. She has also had an “extensive” career at Deloitte, where she held senior roles in audit and assurance in Australia and the UK.
Speaking about the appointment, Colin Biggers & Paisley managing partner Nick Crennan said that he is looking forward to the contribution that Ms Park will make to the firm’s finance and leadership teams.
“Jiyoung brings a wealth of excellent experience in professional services and will help to position Colin Biggers & Paisley for a successful future,” he said.
Ms Park added: “Colin Biggers & Paisley has grown considerably over the past 10 years, and I am looking forward to working with Nick and the partnership and contributing to this in coming years.”
“With [the firm’s] friendly, supportive and collaborative culture, I am confident that I will be able to build strong relationships and add value to enable the practice to achieve successful outcomes.”
Colin Biggers & Paisley currently has over 70 partners and 500 staff across its offices in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
