Wyloo undertakes $760m takeover of Mincor Resources shares

Wyloo Consolidated is being advised on an on-market takeover offer for all of the shares in listed company Mincor Resources NL.

Deal: Wyloo is looking to execute a $760 million on-market takeover offer for all of the shares in Mincor Resources NL (ASX: MCR) that are not already owned by the Wyloo Group.

Key players: The Clayton Utz team is being led by partners Mark Paganin and Stephen Neale, who are being supported by senior associate William Davies, and lawyers Tashreen Tourabaly, Victoria Bandurski and Matthew Ledger, as well as partners Peter Feros and Keshni Maharaj and senior associates Amy Liu and David Wong, and partner Kate Casellas.

Deal significance: The offer price of $1.40 cash per share implies an equity value for Mincor of approximately $760 million, Clayton Utz said in a statement, and represents a 35 per cent premium to the closing price of Mincor shares on 20 March 2023, the last trading day prior to the announcement.
