Pinsent Masons promotes 2 to partner in Australia
Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has elevated 25 lawyers to its partnership, including two in its Australian offices.
Pinsent Masons has bolstered its partnership ranks with the addition of 25 new partners across the firm’s global network. With the promotion of five to partner in APAC, six across EMEA and 14 in the UK, the firm now has 480 partners worldwide.
Across the globe, the partner promotions have come in the firm’s international arbitration, equality law, technology, science and industry practice groups, as well as appointing a new partner for its professional services practice group, Vario.
The news follows the firm’s appointment of a new head in its Melbourne office, as reported by Lawyers Weekly in February.
It also follows the appointment of seven new partners at fellow BigLaw firm Allens, as reported in late March.
Speaking about the promotions round, Pinsent Masons senior partner Andrew Masraf said: “I am incredibly proud of all of our new partners taking the next step in their careers as we recognise the tremendous talent that will help shape the future of our business.
“This year’s partner promotions show our commitment to invest across our sectors, our diverse skill sets, our priority investment areas and our locations, enhancing our partner capability, capacity and expertise.”
Pinsent Masons’ APAC head James Morgan-Payler added: “These promotions reflect continued and significant growth Pinsent Masons has experienced in the region as market leaders in our core sectors and service areas.
“I am impressed by the level of talent across our partner promotions who all bring distinct value to our clients and our business.”
Elsewhere, the firm has also promoted two new partners in the firm’s professional services practice group Vario and a partner in its equality law group.
