Deal: A $650 million sustainability-linked loan (SLL) for AirTrunk’s first Japanese data centre, TOK1, has been secured, with G+T advising Deutsche Bank, Credit Agricole and MUFG in their capacities as mandated lead arrangers and underwriting banks.
Area: Environmental, social and governance (ESG) financing
Value: $650 million
Key players: The G+T team was led by partner Stuart Cormack, who was supported by consultant Hannah Brellisford and lawyer Cinzia Tisano.
Deal significance: Mr Cormack said: “It was a pleasure to advise Deutsche Bank, Credit Agricole and MUFG on this refinancing that will allow AirTrunk to further expand its global footprint.
