BigLaw firm appoints constitutional law professor as consultant
Gilbert + Tobin has appointed a constitutional lawyer and recognised constitutional expert Professor Anne Twomey AO as a consultant.

Ms Twomey is a former professor of constitutional law and director of the Constitutional Reform Unit at Sydney Law School as a consultant.
She is widely regarded as an expert on the Constitution of Australia, and she remains a professor emerita at the University of Sydney.
Ms Twomey has joined G+T on a part-time basis, providing constitutional and related advice, along with training in this expertise area.
Her distinguished career highlights include working for the High Court of Australia, the Commonwealth Parliamentary Library, the Senate legal and constitutional committee, and the Cabinet Office of NSW.
She has acted as a consultant to various government bodies, and her research interests span constitutional law, constitutional history, electoral law, parliamentary procedure and practice, executive power and government integrity. She is currently a member of the Constitutional Expert Group advising on the Voice referendum.
