Marc Rossi joined Mills Oakley last month, bringing with him a background in insolvency, recoveries and dispute resolution.

Mr Rossi joins the firm from Hicksons, where he was a partner for almost five years.

Throughout his career, Mr Rossi has advised across the full spectrum of insolvency matters, including bankruptcy, liquidation, administration, receivership and restructuring. He also advises on recoveries, financial services, securities enforcement, lenders mortgage insurance and title insurance, a statement from Mills Oakley noted.

Some of Mr Rossi’s most notable clientele includes major Australian and international banks, lending and financial institutions, leading insurance companies, Australian government bodies, major Australian and international insolvency firms, corporations, company directors and various stakeholders.

Mills Oakley chief executive John Nerurker said the firm was thrilled to welcome Mr Rossi to the firm, noting that his hire delivers on its strategy to expand the Sydney back-end offering.

“Marc is our third partner hire in the Sydney commercial disputes and insolvency team in the past 18 months, which underlines our commitment to expanding our capability in this space,” Mr Nerurker said.

“Marc is highly regarded by clients and will be an asset to the team.”

Commenting on his decision to join Mills Oakley, Mr Rossi said: “I am excited to be part of a dynamic, collegiate and innovative firm which is clearly committed to growing its insolvency and recoveries capability nationally, and I look forward to being part of that journey.”
