Deal significance: Crows Next is one of six new stations for the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project, which extends new metro rail from Chatswood, under Sydney Harbour, through the Sydney central business district to Bankstown.
As per a statement provided by Ashurst, the Crows Nest over-station development consists of two new buildings above the new metro station, including a 21-storey commercial office building and a 17-storey residential building, together with a retail offering.
“Crows Nest Station is an exciting project that will improve public transport options and connectivity for local residents and businesses, with the new over-station developments playing a key role in the activation of the metro station and broader precinct,” lead partner Laura Hillhouse said.
“Ashurst is proud to have acted for Sydney Metro for the past five years on their infrastructure and property development projects to assist in making this city-transforming project come alive.”
