BigLaw firm Piper Alderman has bolstered its national real estate practice with the appointment of a new partner, who was formerly a senior associate at Moray & Agnew.
John Wu (pictured) has joined Piper Alderman as a partner, having come across from fellow national law firm Moray & Agnew, where he was a senior associate. He formerly worked in taxation at Deloitte and is a NAATI-certified Chinese translator and interpreter.
Speaking about his new role, Mr Wu said: “Piper Alderman has an excellent reputation for providing effective legal solutions to a diverse range of clients.
“The opportunity to join a highly regarded national commercial law firm encompassing property, construction, planning and finance, together with the ability to collaborate with respected colleagues from other practice areas, will allow me to further support my clients’ businesses and growth.”
Piper Alderman managing partner Tony Britten-Jones added: “John joins a highly experienced national real estate team, which has grown significantly over the last 12 months.
“We are delighted to welcome John to the team. His experience, drive and client base in Melbourne will greatly strengthen our existing offering and complement our existing practice in commercial real estate, investments and development.”
With Mr Wu’s arrival and appointment as a partner, Piper Alderman now has 12 real estate partners across the firm.
