National law firm Piper Alderman has expanded its project and infrastructure capabilities with the appointment of an Adelaide-based senior associate from BigLaw competitor King & Wood Mallesons.
David Vincent (pictured) has joined Piper Alderman, helping the firm grow its national projects, infrastructure and construction team. He brings a “broad range” commercial experience, the firm said in a statement, with an emphasis on major energy, mining and infrastructure projects.
Prior to his new role, Mr Vincent spent over three years at KWM.
Speaking about his appointment, Mr Vincent said: “The team’s deal credentials, relationship [with] clients and focus on major projects made this a great fit for me.
“I’m excited about being based in Adelaide, but working as part of an integrated national team.”
Piper Alderman national practice team lead Martin Lovell added: “David has significant experience working on major projects, and we are delighted to have someone of his calibre joining our team.
“His hire is part of our national strategy to continue to grow capability in this area and respond to the increasing activity and influx of projects across the renewable energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.”
