Global law firm White & Case has added to its growing partnership, with promotions becoming effective from January 2023.

In Australia, two partners have been promoted in Melbourne in the project development and finance practice. Stephen Carlton advises on energy and infrastructure-related mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on renewables, mining and metals and public-private partnership (PPP) projects, and Hilary Cure advises government and private sector clients on infrastructure and renewables transactions that cover the entire life cycle of infrastructure projects, including development, operations, financing and disputes.

These promotions represent 10 of the firm’s global practices across 15 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific region, said White & Case chair Hugh Verrier.

“Addressing our clients’ long-term needs requires a commitment to grow and maintain a highly skilled, diverse team of partners who are leaders in their fields,” he said.

“Collectively, our 2023 class represents the best of White & Case, and I’m delighted to welcome them into our global partnership.”

The other 44 partner appointments are based across the world, including in Dubai, Tokyo, Stockholm, Prague, Helsinki, Warsaw, London, Mexico, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Johannesburg, Riyadh, Madrid and Mexico, as well as several cities across the United States.
