Dentons appoints compliance partner
Global law firm Dentons has appointed a Sydney-based compliance practitioner as its latest partner.
Toby Blyth has been appointed to Dentons’ partnership, effective immediately.
Mr Blyth’s appointment is the latest in Dentons’ consolidation of its regulatory and compliance offering.
Commenting on the appointment, Dentons’ Australia region chair and Australasia chief executive Doug Stipanicev said: “Toby’s appointment continues to expand our ability to meet our clients’ needs, by ensuring we have talented individuals who are leaders in their areas of practice, where our clients need them.
“The growth of our national offering over the course of the last year has been nothing short of extraordinary.”
Commenting on his new role, Mr Blyth said: “Global regulatory trends are predictive of the priorities for Australian regulators.
“The breadth and depth of the worldwide Dentons network will be invaluable to me in providing local and global clients with analysis and advice on current and emerging risks.”
The appointment of Mr Blyth was announced on the same day when Jill Milburn commenced her partnership with Dentons; she was appointed on 15 September 2022.
Ms Milburn, like Mr Blyth, is also based in Sydney, where she specialises in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings, management buyouts, divestments, and joint ventures.
