MetaPM advised on sale to ALTEN Group
National firm Colin Biggers & Paisley (CB&P) assisted MetaPM in the successful sale to ALTEN Group (a French listed leader in engineering and technology consulting).
Firm: CB&P (MetaPM); Addisons (ALTEN Group)
Value: N/A
Area: Corporate
Key players: Toby Norgate led the CB&P team and was supported by special counsel Alexandra Terrill and solicitor Henry Shaw.
The Addisons team was led by partners Arthur Davis and Angelika Yates.
Deal significance: ALTEN Group is a world leader in engineering and technology consulting, with approximately 46,000 employees.
MetaPM is a 100-person consultancy, offering end-to-end project services across consulting, resourcing, and training.
MI-GSO | PCUBED Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of ALTEN Group and has approximately 2,500 employees. MetaPM was sold to this subsidiary.
The purchase was a strategic part of its global growth strategy to double its workforce by 2025.
Additionally, MetaPM’s strong public sector client base was also a key consideration for MI-GSO | PCUBED Group as it continues to expand its Australian footprint.
“This is one of a number of similar successful M&A deals that CB&P have acted on in the last year,” CB&P said in a statement.
Toby Norgate commented: “The deal forms the foundation for an exciting future ahead for the company and we congratulate our client Simon Garlick of MetaPM for achieving the successful sale.”
