Deal: Baker McKenzie has advised Finite Group shareholders on an agreement to sell 100 per cent of the business to Randstad Australia.

Value: Undisclosed

Area: Merger and acquisition

Key players: The deal was led by Baker McKenzie partner Lance Sacks.

Deal significance: The acquisition will further strengthen Randstad’s position as the market leader within the IT sector in Australia and New Zealand and will be a strong addition to the company’s current service offering.

The Finite Group specialises in technology recruitment, IT consulting and a broad array of IT and digital professional services. It leverages an extensive network of both contractors and permanently employed technical staff and provides a wide range of services and capabilities to its significant customer base.

Commenting on the deal, Mr Sacks said: “We were delighted to be able to assist the shareholders in Finite Group to achieve this outcome.

“The business is 100 per cent privately owned and operated and a real Australian success story. The sale agreement is a clear demonstration of Finite Group’s position as a leading technology services and people solutions provider across Australia and New Zealand.”
