McCabes elevates 18
National law firm McCabes has promoted one to principal, one to special counsel, five to senior associate and 11 to associate.
The firm – which has offices in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and two presences in Sydney – has named Kristine Gorgievski as its newest principal and Viv Braithwaite as a new special counsel.
The new associates are Rihab Abdul-Rahman, Claudia Antoniazzi, Ricardo Basetti, Samantha Beattie, Chris Harold, Hayden Magrath, Talia Mason, David Mulligan, Cabe Paparone, Monique Papas, and Emily Truong.
Speaking about the promotions round, McCabes managing principal Andrew Lacey (pictured) said that all of those elevated to more senior roles have displayed a strong commitment to performing at a high level, leading to favourable results for the firm.
“It is a pleasure to reward the hardworking individuals within our deep talent pool,” he said.
“Each of the promoted individuals represent the McCabes values and are dedicated and intelligent legal professionals.”
