Clayton Utz appoints forensic director
Clayton Utz has cemented its specialist knowledge of forensic and technological services through a strategic appointment.

The new appointment, FTS director William Howe, is an established data specialist with both government and private connections.
Clayton Utz appointed Mr Howe because of his international and broad industry experience, with his focus on clients – predominantly in the financial sector – on remediation, regulatory data governance and financial crime compliance and investigations.
Mr Howe has also supported clients in the area of digital transformation efforts, namely, automation, regtech, artificial intelligence and customer service.
His most recent role was with KPMG advisory in Sydney, where he was the director of financial services, technology, data and analytics.
Mr Howe is listed by Clayton Utz as having expertise in forensic and technology services, banking and finance, financial services regulation, insurance and risk and investigations and crisis management.
