Thomson Geer advises barley industry giant on merger
Apex body in the Australian barley and malting industry Barley Australia has been advised by Thomson Geer on its merger with Grains Australia. The firm has also advised Barley Australia on intellectual property matters.

The merger will see Grains Australia take control of all technical functions associated with barley varietal classification, trade and market access, as well as education on the Australian barley industry. The board of directors at Barely Australia are set to form a new council within Grains Australia.
