Listed IP firm expands into Singapore
QANTM Intellectual Property (ASX: QIP) has expanded its intellectual property services into Singapore and has consolidated some of its business operations.
After a successful launch in New Zealand in 2016, QANTM’s online trademark services business Sortify.tm, swiftly established itself as a leading provider of trademark services in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
“Singapore is a nation of tech-savvy individuals and businesses, and we are excited to provide our fully automated platform to enable Singapore brand owners to apply to protect their trademarks in a matter of minutes. We are also looking forward to rolling out our online trade mark registration to assist more brand owners in more regions in Asia,” Ms Foggo said.
Chief executive and managing director at QANTM, Craig Dower, said that “QANTM continues to see and respond to opportunities in high growth markets” and that the expansion of Sortify.tm to Singapore strengthens their presence in “this important IP market”.
Along with Sortify’s expansion, QANTM will be integrating Advanz Fidelis IP Sdn Bhd into DCC’s operations in Asia, improving their capacity to provide professional services to clients across the Australasian region.
QANTM will also be integrating Sydney-based Cotters Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys into DCC and FPA, which will enhance the practice groups within each of those firms, as well as extending the overall service proposition to Cotters’ clients.
These integrations were done with the purpose of simplifying QANTM’s overall operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, increase client opportunities and enhance career opportunities.
QANTM group now contains four distinctive businesses: DCC Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and DCC Law, FPA Patent Attorneys, and Sortify.tm.
