TricorBraun to acquire PB Packaging

Global packaging company TricorBraun has been advised on its agreement to acquire PB Packaging, the rigid packaging business of Pro-Pac Packaging Limited (ASX: PPG).

Deal: TricorBraun has acquired PB Packaging, with the transaction remaining subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete Q2 of this year.

Key players: The Pinsent Masons team was led by partner Ewan Robertson and comprised a multidisciplinary team including Katie Murray, Harry Martin, Roxanne Hart and Vanessa Scrivener.

Deal significance: Speaking about the deal, Mr Robertson said: “We are very pleased to have been able to support TricorBraun in this important step forward on its growth journey in Australia.

“It will no doubt be an excellent acquisition and is only one of a number of deals we have worked on recently for overseas companies entering or growing within the Australian market.”
