Abacus Property secures $200m placement
Property management company Abacus Property has secured a $200 million institutional placement, as well as a share purchase plan.

Key players: The KWM team was led by special counsel Amanda Isouard and partner David Eliakim, with support from senior associate Stacey Stellatos and solicitor Hussien Kassouh.
Deal significance: Abacus Property Group is a diversified Australian real estate investment trust (REIT) with an investment portfolio concentrated in the self-storage and office sectors.
Commenting on the transaction, Mr Eliakim said: “We are grateful to have worked with Abacus on this important transaction. This is the second time that we have acted for Abacus on a capital raising, having also been involved in their $400 million entitlement offer in December 2020.”
