Lander & Rogers innovation hub, iHub, set off from Birrarung Marr last week to help clean up the Yarra and contribute to Clean Up Australia Day – the largest community-based environmental event in the country.

Lander & Rogers chief innovation officer and transformation lead Michelle Grossmann said that the firm is committed to reducing its environmental footprint by investing in sustainable business practices, championing sustainability and positively influencing changes in behaviour that benefit the broader community.

Clean Up Australia Day is a great opportunity to make a difference and contribute to cleaning up our country together,” she said.

“Our team recognises that we all need to take responsibility, make the right environmental choices and be part of a positive change.

Lander & Rogers is a member of the Australian Legal Sector Alliance, an industry-led association promoting sustainability in the legal sector and committed to purchasing 100 per cent renewable energy in 2021, being carbon-neutral in 2022 and a zero-waste firm by 2025. Stephen So, head of analytics in the Lander & Rogers iHub, said it was important for the firm to “lead by action”.

Taking part in Clean Up Australia Day is such a good opportunity to roll up our sleeves, take action and do our bit to clean up our beautiful city, he said.

Not only did we care for a planet we love, it was a great opportunity for our team to lead by action.
