The new Townsville office, according to the firm, will help to provide additional expert representation and service to the state’s far north and the north-west. Creevey Russell Lawyers will be based in the Townville CBD in an office in the Sturt Business Centre at 25 Sturt Street.

Creevey Russell principal Dan Creevey said senior associate Lucas Hickey was “returning home” to Townsville to lead the new office.

“We are proud to announce that Creevey Russell Lawyers are open and operating in Townsville,” he said.

“Lucas Hickey is a highly regarded senior associate with extensive experience in property, commercial, wills, estates administration and succession planning law. Lucas has moved north to open the office and members of our dedicated crime and misconduct team will be joining him in the near future.”

Creevey Russell already has offices in Brisbane, Toowoomba and Roma with more than 50 years combined experience in criminal law matters.

“We see this as a tremendous opportunity to spread our wings and service north Queensland and north western Queensland, including Townsville, Charters Towers, Mt Isa, Richmond and Cloncurry,” Mr Creevey added.

“We understand the needs of regional Queensland and I go on regular road trips to talk to existing and potential new clients. Creevey Russell Lawyers has a strong presence in the area of commercial property, litigation, family law, wills and estates and crime. We represent clients along the eastern seaboard and appear in courts wherever required.”
