Partner returns to K&L Gates
A labour, employment and workplace lawyer has returned to K&L Gates in its Melbourne office, where he will join the global firm’s partnership ranks.

Following years of experience as a safety and industrial relations lawyer and litigator, partner Dominic Fleeton will return to the firm and assist in its strategy to grow the Australian arm of its labour, employment and workplace safety team.
Mr Fleeton has worked across a range of industries, including construction, to help clients achieve their goals. He is known for his ability to balance the “robust pursuit” and defence of claims and the management of clients’ reputational outcomes.
He is among more than 105 partners and counsel who have joined the firm’s global platform since the start of 2020.
Managing partner of Australia’s practice Nick Nichola said: “We are delighted to have Dominic back in the fold. His deep experience in safety and industrial relations continues the growth of our national labour, employment and workplace safety team who are helping Australian workplaces around the country adapt to the ever-changing landscapes of regulation and new community expectations on employers.”
