Oobe acquired by Fujitsu

Fujitsu Australia has acquired Microsoft partner and tech company Oobe, under the advisement of G+T.

Deal: G+T has advised Fujitsu Australia on its acquisition of Microsoft partner Oobe.

Value: Undisclosed.

Area: M&A.

Key players: The G+T team was led by corporate advisory partner David Josselsohn with support from lawyers Ashleigh Kern, Jessica Tang, Clare Azzopardi and Vania Jiang. The corporate team was also supported by specialists throughout the firm.

Deal significance: Founded in 2007, Oobe specialises in end-user computing, applications, data, cloud and cyber services and products, with a specific focus on Microsoft and Azure.

Commenting on the deal, Mr Josselsohn said: “We are pleased to have advised Fujitsu on this transaction which complements its multi-cloud, work-life shift and security services.”
