Adairs acquires Focus on Furniture for $80m
Focus on Furniture has successfully been acquired by Adairs Limited for $80 million.

Partner Philip Hopley advised on the insurance aspects of the transaction, partner Michael Parker advised on tax aspects, while partner Mark Dunphy and senior associate Nhu Thuy Dinh advised on employment matters.
Deal significance: The acquisition is a strategic fit for Adairs, with attractive growth potential. It will further develop the Adairs group as a leading homewares and home furnishings omni-channel retail group operating across Australia and New Zealand, and will increase their product offering in the key area of home furniture.
Focus on Furniture will continue to operate independently of Adairs.
