Byggfakta Group expands international operations
Clayton Utz has advised Byggfakta Group on the acquisition of BCI Media Group in a move that will expand the global business provider’s international offering.

They were supported by a team contributing expertise across a range of practice areas, including workplace relations, superannuation, data and privacy, real estate, litigation, intellectual property, banking and finance and competition.
The Clayton Utz team also worked closely with BFG’s other legal advisers, including Allen & Gledhill LLP, Simpson Grierson, Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, Soemadipradja & Taher, Rahmat Lim & Partners, JunHe LLP, and Vinge.
Deal significance: Byggfakta Group is a leading software and information company within the construction industry. BCI Media Group is a B2B information provider for the construction industry in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the US. The merging of the two companies, completed in October, has created a powerhouse in construction industry data intelligence solutions.
The acquisition will enable Byggfakta Group to expand its operations internationally, including in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, New Zealand, and the United States.
