Firm: Gilbert + Tobin (Liverpool Partners).

Deal: Liverpool Partners has been advised in connection with the restructuring, refinancing and subsequent acquisition by Orro Group of eSecure.

Value: Undisclosed.

Area: Corporate advisory, banking, projects.

Key players: The G+T team was led by corporate advisory partner Adam Laura with support from consultant Michael McDonald and lawyers Jessica Liang, Jackson Kang and Srivatsav Moorthy.

The debt financing aspect of the deal was led by banking and projects partner Gail Christopher and was supported by lawyers Michael Spurritt and graduate Ziggy Liszukiewicz.

Deal significance: As per a statement from G+T, Orro Group is Australia’s leading platform-enabled secure network and digital infrastructure provider.

“The acquisition of eSecure adds new security consulting, assurance and managed detection, and response capabilities to Orro Group’s existing security cloud and IT services capabilities,” the firm said.

Commenting further, partners Adam Laura and Gail Christopher said: We are delighted to have provided support to our long-time client Liverpool Partners on this transaction, which further strengthens Orro’s world-class cyber capability.”
