Piper Alderman appoints Perth special counsel
Piper Alderman has added to its Perth practice with the appointment of a new special counsel.

Sabina Schlink joins Piper Alderman’s Perth office this month, where she will work as part of the firm’s national financial services and fintech team, alongside Sydney-based financial services partner Andrea Beatty. Ms Schlink joins Piper Alderman from Thomas Legal, where she was a principal.
Throughout her career she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the local Perth and Adelaide markets, specialising in general corporate and commercial legal matters, specialist banking, financial services and insurance advice, company secretarial and director training expertise, and compliance and governance services.
Ms Beatty said she is delighted to welcome Ms Schlink to the team.
“I’m delighted to have Sabina join our growing team. Her depth of expertise will bring great value to our clients,” she said.
“Sabina comes with great complementary skills to our national Financial Services practice. She will also give us a Perth footprint, bringing on-the-ground support for our WA clients.”

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.
Emma has worked for Momentum Media since 2015, including five years spent as the editor of the company's legal brand - Lawyers Weekly. Throughout her time at Momentum, she has been responsible for breaking some of the biggest stories in corporate Australia. In addition, she has produced exclusive multimedia and event content related to the company's respective brands and audiences.
Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.
She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
