National law firm Sparke Helmore has appointed one of its partners, as well as a beverage company GC, as new board members.
Sparke Helmore – which has nine offices across Australia – has welcomed Libby Davidson and Maxine Feletti as its newest board members, joining chair Andrew White and serving members Phillip Salem, Karwan Eskerie, and Mick Dwyer, Scott McDonald and John Martin.
Ms Feletti, a partner, has been with the firm since 2016 and works as a safety and disputes practitioner with public and private sector clients on safe workplaces, systems and cultures.
Speaking about the appointments, Mr Salem – who is also the firm’s managing partner – said he is “delighted” to welcome the pair to the board.
“I look forward to working closely with them as we pursue our 2023 strategy toward the next phase of the firm’s growth,” he said.
“Libby and Maxine each bring distinct and complementary skills and expertise to the Board, and I have no doubt their experience, enthusiasm and commitment to the firm will prove invaluable.”
The news follows the firm’s promotion of 27 lawyers in July of this year, including eight to special counsel and 19 to senior associate.
