Dicker Data buys New Zealand’s ‘second-largest’ IT distributor
Global law firm K&L Gates has advised Australian-headquartered company Dicker Data Limited on its acquisition of New Zealand’s second-largest IT distributor.

Deal significance: Dicker Data Limited is an Australian-owned and operated company, while Exeed Group is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand and is described as the second-largest IT distributor in the country.
As per a statement provided by K&L Gates, Exeed Group holds a dominant market share across the vendors they represent and is the leading distributor of key technology brands including Apple, HP, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Microsoft with a focus on both the commercial and retail sectors.
“We’re delighted that Dicker Data continues to entrust our firm with its global legal challenges, and are excited to see its expansion across New Zealand,” Mr Lyons said, commenting off the back of the deal.
