Alexandra Wedutenko joins the firm’s Canberra office in her new role. She is described as a leading government, IT and telecommunications lawyer, “known in the market for her skillful management of significant Commonwealth and state government procurement projects”.

As per a statement provided by Sparkes, Ms Wedutenko specialises in select sourcing and business process sourcing in a regulated environment.

She advises on data protection, strategic procurement, funding programs and related probity issues and regularly presents on the latest developments in commercial and technology law and related topics.

Sparkes’ national managing partner Phillip Salem welcomed Ms Wedutenko to the firm.

“We are thrilled that Alexandra has decided to join Sparke Helmore,” he said.

“She is an exceptional lawyer and will add further depth of expertise to our outstanding government team.”

Commenting on her new role, Ms Wedutenko said: “As the second largest private provider for Commonwealth legal services for the last three years, it was an easy decision to make the move to Sparke Helmore.

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.

Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.

She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
