Hicksons promotes 6 to senior positions
An Australian law firm has elevated six lawyers to senior positions, including one to the partner level, across its Sydney and Newcastle offices.
Commercial law firm Hicksons has announced the promotion of six staff: four new associates, one new senior associate and the appointment of one new partner in the firm’s Newcastle office.
“On behalf of Hicksons, I would like to welcome these people to their new roles. Their senior promotions are well deserved and represent a dedication to clients, strong leadership and exceptional specialist expertise,” he said.
The newest partner at the firm, Casey Bray, has been with the firm since the beginning of her law career – starting as a paralegal at Hicksons in 2011 and has been promoted to different roles since, eventually landing her new partnership position.
Ms Bray is one of 10 partners (out of 26) who started their legal career at Hicksons, truly highlighting the firm’s focus on career development. Roxanna Lam has also been promoted to the position of senior associate in the corporate and commercial team in Hickson’s Sydney office.
The firm’s newest associates across the Sydney and Newcastle offices are Tayla Cunning, Steven Diakiw, Stephanie Liu and Cate Young.
