Ms Lowes has been with A&O for almost six years, prior to which she was at DibbsBarker, which – just over two years ago – was absorbed into Dentons.
The 39 counsel promotions will become effective as of 1 May 2021.
Speaking about the round of promotions to counsel, A&O global managing partner Gareth Price said: “These important promotions provide a good example of how we are continuing to invest in the future success of our business.”
“The geographic spread and range of diverse backgrounds of our counsel promotions demonstrate both the strength of our global footprint and our commitment to the development of our people. I would like to congratulate all the lawyers on this significant achievement in their careers,” he added.
The news follows the firm’s recent promotions round for partnership, in which another Sydney-based lawyer, Minesh Patel, made partner. His promotion also comes into effect on 1 May 2021.
