SA appoints new court administrator
A former Department of Premier and Cabinet executive director will soon commence her new appointment as the head of South Australian Courts Administration Authority.

Penny Croser is currently working with the Department of Premier and Cabinet but will begin her new role in mid-June, replacing outgoing administrator Julie-Anne Burgess who resigned earlier this year.
Ms Croser began working with the Attorney-General’s Department in 1998 and since then has undertaken numerous, complex roles in the public sector.
This included work with Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, work on native title claims with the Crown Solicitor’s Office and working overseas to support bushfire victims with Victorian Bushfire Reconstruction and Recovery Authority.
As acting director of the Office of Correctional Services Review, Ms Croser also oversaw independent investigations into the death of underworld figure Carl Williams.
She then went onto oversee the development of Victoria’s new police act – the first major reforms in over a century – as director of police, resources and governance within the Department of Justice.
