Global digital and legal business transformation solutions company Morae has appointed a managing director and senior director to aid its growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
Melbourne-based Lindy Muto and Sydney-based Alison Laird have been hired as the managing director and senior director respectively for Morae, as part of the ongoing expansion of its advisory team.
Ms Muto brings over 20 years of experience, including time in private practice and as a general counsel and a decade as a legal consultant focused on finding innovative solutions for the transformation of corporate legal departments, Morae said. Ms Laird, it continued, has more than 15 years of international legal operations and innovation experience in the region, having worked in Australia, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, the UK and France.
Speaking about the appointments, Morae managing director Justin North said: “Demand is high in the Asia-Pacific market for world-class strategic advisory services as an increasing number of legal departments, law firms and other professional services firms seek to move past the hype and truly transform how they operate.
“The addition of Lindy and Alison to the team will provide our Australian, New Zealand, Indian, and other Asia-Pacific clients with the expertise and experience they require to more effectively assess, plan and implement the strategies and solutions that are right for them.”
Morae president (legal business transformation) and CFO James Rojas added: “Morae is committed to providing our Asia Pacific clients with exceptional, advisory-led solutions and we are so excited to add such high calibre talent as Lindy and Alison to our One Morae team.”
