FTI Consulting makes 3 senior appointments
Global advisory firm FTI Consulting has hired three senior professionals to bolster its construction dispute and litigation expertise in Asia Pacific.

FTI has appointed Nick Adams as a senior managing director, Neil Birchall as managing director and Johnny Chao as associate director in the firm’s construction solutions practice, which sits within its forensic and litigation consulting segment.
FTI noted that Mr Adams is a chartered quantity surveyor who brings more than 35 years of experience to his new role, as well as specialisation in the preparation, defence and management of contractual claims, as well as the provision of expert quantum advice, reports and evidence. Mr Birchall is also a quantity surveyor who has over 34 years of experience in construction and dispute resolution, including in the oil and gas, mining, infrastructure and transport, and public utilities sectors. And Mr Chao, who has over 30 years of experience working on major construction projects in Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Dubai and the UK, has extensive pre and post-contract quantity surveying experience, the firm said.
The three senior appointments, the firm said in a statement, “enhance FTI Consulting’s bench of construction expertise, which includes industry leaders who understand technical, business, regulatory and legal matters and are seasoned in giving expert testimony”.
FTI global leader of construction solutions Graham McNeill said that he was “delighted” to welcome the trio to the Asia-Pacific team.
“These senior hires demonstrate our commitment towards providing the best possible solutions for our clients across Asia Pacific and beyond,” he said.
“We continue to see a great demand for our Construction Solutions offering and look forward to recruiting key staff across the region to further reinforce our position as the leading expert practice in Asia Pacific.”
