Gilbert + Tobin has advised specialist power and telecommunications provider GenusPlus on its initial public offering and listing on the ASX.

Firm: Gilbert + Tobin (GenusPlus Group).

Deal: Western Australia-based GenusPlus Group has successfully completed a $32.8 million initial public offering and ASX listing, giving the company a market capitalisation on listing of approximately $149 million.

Value: $32.8 million.

Area: Corporate advisory.

Key players: The G+T team was led by partners Michael Blakiston and Julie Athanasoff, who were supported by senior associates Matthew Watkins and Sarah Gaffney-Smith and lawyers Janelle Sputore and Gabrielle Sumich.

Deal significance: In a statement, the firm said: “It was a pleasure working with the GenusPlus team on what is a genuine WA success story. We look forward to seeing the company continue to grow and thrive as an ASX listed company.”
