Australian-headquartered international firm MinterEllison has elevated 71 practitioners to more senior positions, including 68 new senior associates.
MinterEllison has promoted 71 of its lawyers to more senior positions, including 68 new senior associates, two new directors and one new senior manager. Female lawyers make up 68 per cent of the promotions.
Speaking about the promotions, Minters CEO and managing partner Annette Kimmitt said: “On behalf of the partners, I am delighted to congratulate our next cohort of future leaders. Minters’ newest directors are Theresa Chong (Auckland) and Heeyung Shin (Melbourne), both in the firm’s technology consulting group. Jeffrey Curtis (Sydney) is the newest senior manager and is also in technology consulting.
The firm’s new senior associates in capital markets and corporate are: Russell Jones (Adelaide), Shairiibuu Boldoo (Ulaanbaatar), Natalie Bentley, Olga Horwoby, Helen Huynh, Nelson Maunatlala, Daniel Wangatau, Jennifer Dornan and Aimee Yi (Sydney), Andrew Jiang (London), and Rhett McPhie, Eilidh Murray and Nicolas Lee (Melbourne).
In the consulting solutions group, Charlotte Breekveldt, Daniel Kornberg and Sarah Sapuppo (Melbourne) and Dong Su Kim, Georgia McCarthy and Naomi McGregor were all promoted within the tax team to SA, and Josh Anaf, Phoebe Blank, Jialing Chen, Elise Holmes and Caitlin Ible (Melbourne), Laura Bereicua and Albert Khouri (Sydney), and Taya Hunt and Jessica Mansell (Brisbane) were all elevated to SA in the workplace team.
Elsewhere, in the disputes, competition and insurance group, the newest SAs at Minters are: Elizabeth Emmett, Courtney Coyne and Claire Davies (Brisbane), Emily Chappelow (Perth), Jason Leonardis and Ben Clarke (Adelaide), Lindsay Scott, Elizabeth Yick, Marian Morton, Emma Roberts and Narod Hosikian (Melbourne), Sheenal Singh, Jacky Wong, Sophie Hernandez Kaiko, Philippa Munton and Jennifer Strugnell (Sydney), Lauren Tattersall (Darwin), and Emma Bozic, Kelly Matheson and Karen Teixeira (Canberra).
Finally, in the infrastructure, construction and property group, Minters elevated the following to SA: Jarryd Gray, Stephanie Mann, Domenic Mollica, Seles Ng, Nick McConnell, Kieran McAlpine and Jessica Stokes (Melbourne), Tegun Middleton, Sarah Cahill, Alexandria Hammerton, Matt Hammond, James Knell, Megan Sharkey and Ruth Sainsbury (Brisbane), Candice Lamb (Perth), Amy Ryan and Jenna Mastachenko (Sydney), Yvette Mason (Gold Coast) and Mark Hautop (Adelaide).
