Spruson & Ferguson has promoted Rory Anderson (engineering/ICT, Melbourne) and Scott Philp (engineering/ICT, Sydney) to principal, while Dr Anna Goldys (chemical/life sciences, Sydney), David Mueller-Wiesner (engineering/ICT, Sydney) and Rhiannan Solomon (trademarks, Brisbane) were promoted to senior associate and Faran Ward (engineering/ICT, Brisbane) was elevated to associate.

The Australian promotions form part of a series of international promotions for the firm across its offices, which span the Asia-Pacific region including presences in Bangkok, Beijing, Brisbane, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, Singapore and Sydney.

Reflecting on the promotions, firm managing director of Asia Kristian Robinson said: “The promotions recognise these individuals as having shown commitment and diligence in their roles and have subsequently reached significant milestones in their careers.”

Australian managing director Russell Davies added that the promotions recognise the “consistent delivery of excellent work and commitment” of the firm’s practitioners.

“We value their substantial contribution to the firm and their team through strong practice management, business development, mentoring, training and technical excellence,” he said.
