30u30 pro bono finalists revealed

Lawyers Weekly is pleased to announce the finalists for the pro bono category at this year’s 30 Under 30 Awards.

These finalists were incredibly admirable as they each displayed not only a commitment to the legal professional, but also by bringing their expertise to make a meaningful impact on those in need.

Finalists were particularly commended on their efforts to champion pro bono work within their own organisation, as well as continuing volunteer work in the wider community.

This year, finalists for the 30 Under 30 Awards are being revealed category-by-category.

This new approach saw the finalists revealed for the:

  • Banking and finance category on Monday, 20 April.
  • Construction and infrastructure category on Tuesday, 21 April.
  • Mergers and acquisitions category on Wednesday, 22 April.
  • Dispute resolution and litigation category on Thursday, 23 April.
  • Projects, energy and resources category on Friday, 24 April.
  • Corporate counsel (large business) category on Monday, 27 April.
  • Real estate category on Tuesday, 28 April.
  • Commercial category on Wednesday, 29 April.
  • Planning and environment category on Wednesday, 29 April.
  • Intellectual property category on Thursday, 30 April.
  • Migration category on Thursday, 30 April.
  • Media and telecommunication category on Friday, 1 May.

Emma Musgrave

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.

Emma has worked for Momentum Media since 2015, including five years spent as the editor of the company's legal brand - Lawyers Weekly. Throughout her time at Momentum, she has been responsible for breaking some of the biggest stories in corporate Australia. In addition, she has produced exclusive multimedia and event content related to the company's respective brands and audiences. 

Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.

She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
