Compensation firm welcomes established personal injuries lawyer
A major compensation law firm has welcomed a lawyer with over 30 years’ experience to head up the personal injuries practice based in its Queensland office.
Principal lawyer Katrina Pedersen has taken on a new regional leadership role within the Slater and Gordon personal injuries practice. She will support staff to deliver legal advice to clients across Toowoomba, Ipswich, Townsville and Brisbane.
Ms Pedersen started her career 30 years’ ago, working in a relatively small regional town as a legal stenographer. She has since worked in compensation law for 20 years.
“Assisting my clients to achieve a fair and just outcome during what can sometimes be a very difficult time in their lives is very rewarding,” Ms Pedersen said.
“I ensure I get to know them as people. More than just what’s happened to them, but what is important to them. I recognise that each client is unique in their own way and I strive to keep them informed at all times, so they feel valued and supported.”
