New partner boosts firm’s capital markets and corporate team
A multinational professional services firm has appointed a leading project finance lawyer as a new partner in the firm’s capital markets and corporate team.
MinterEllison said Ros O’Mally is recognised for her “outstanding credentials” in project finance, particularly in the power and infrastructure sectors, including clean energy, water treatment, natural resources and across transport.
“Her arrival further develops our key project solutions practice to support our clients’ needs in Australia and across the broader Asia-Pacific region.”
Ms O’Mally will be based in Sydney and will add strength to the firm’s existing skills in projects. She will work with clients in energy and resources and financial services.
Ms O’Mally said she was excited about the opportunity: “The Australian energy market is undergoing dynamic transition with clean energy technologies playing an increasing role in Australia’s energy mix.”
“Coupled with this are opportunities in the infrastructure sector with strong government commitments to new infrastructure projects including the road and rail sectors as well as social infrastructure projects such as schools and housing.”
