The merge, effective from the beginning of December, will see the integrated firm offer clients law expertise in federal, state and international tax advice, negotiation and risk management as well as superannuation and trusts.

Coleman Greig CEO Warrick McLean said: “To be integrating two highly regarded and respected practices is a significant milestone. We are both solutions-focused and we significantly strengthen our commercial and personal suite of services.”

Mr McLean said having the Argyle team merge with Coleman Greig will open access to several tax specialists’ lawyers and chartered accountants. He said Coleman Greig has been focused on securing “high-powered” tax-focused skills but this integration will ensure additional support in superannuation and asset protections.

Principal of Argyle Lawyers Peter Bobbin said joining the team at Coleman Greig will allow the firm to put its “client-focused tax” into greater effect.

“Being at the forefront of our field has allowed us to be an influence on taxation and other laws that [impact the] lives and wellbeing of people and commercial entities. We are regularly appointed as key managers of ATO audits and disputes where we can add significant strategic insight,” Mr Bobbin said.

The expanded legal team will continue operations in Campbelltown-Macarthur, Penrith and Parramatta, as well as Norwest Business Park and will operate in the Sydney CBD.
