Client calls for ‘efficient delivery’ driving rapid legal tech adoption
With clients demanding their legal matters to be handled faster than ever before, law firms are again being prompted to adopt new technology or risk losing out.

Speaking as part of CommBank's latest Legal Market Pulse report, Ashurst global chief operating officer, Geoff Gishubl, said the firm’s focus on “efficient delivery” has become an integral part of its response to both “rapid and fundamental change in the legal services industry”.
“Our most pressing challenge is transforming and adapting our business to these changing conditions,” Mr Gishubl said.
“We are constantly looking to change the nature of the traditional services we offer, always improving and transforming delivery models to make them more efficient.
“This includes having dedicated analysts that take a more scientific approach to breaking down the workload, pipeline and resources.”
Ashurst global managing partner, Paul Jenkins added: "We’re seeing a revolution in the legal services market, and it’s continuing to accelerate.”
“In response, we’re placing significant emphasis on transforming our own business and operating model, continuing to look at how we best deliver value. This means responding to our clients’ needs as they change, evolving our technology and legal delivery offering, and embracing new ways of working.
“Our strategy has been hugely successful and the strong performance we’ve seen across our firm is evidence that we’re on the right track, continuing to deliver high-quality legal services to our clients, efficiently.”
