Firm: KWM (KKR).

Deal: KKR has been advised on the launch of its first ASX-listed fund, proceeds from which will be deployed into KKR-managed investment funds.

Area: Equity capital markets.

Value: N/A.

Key players: The KWM team advising on the deal was led by partner David Eliakim, who was supported by partner Jim Boynton, special counsel Amanda Isouard senior associates Shabarika Ajitkumar and John Arthur and solicitors Thomas Rust and Rhiannon Parker.

Deal significance: Commenting on the transaction, Mr Boynton said: “We have a long history of working with the KKR private equity team and are very grateful for the opportunity to work alongside KKR’s credit team on a high-profile matter. We are sure that the IPO will be well supported given the investment demand for credit products in a low interest rate market and the quality of the issuer.”
