Simon Haddy is the newest corporate partner for JWS and will be based in its Melbourne office, having commenced in his new role last week.

Managing partner Peter Slattery said that Mr Haddy’s experience makes him a “great fit for the firm”, as he is “well equipped to lead the development of our corporate team in Melbourne”.

“Johnson Winter & Slattery has been building a strong reputation in the market advising on complex disputes and transactions, which strongly aligns with the nature of Simon’s practice. Joining a 15-partner corporate team, Simon will further strengthen our capabilities and help us grow our practice within Victoria’s financial investment, infrastructure and utilities sectors,” he said.

Mr Haddy added that he was looking forward to working with his new team.

“Johnson Winter & Slattery is unique in the Australian market for its “hands-on” involvement of partners, which is a big draw card for clients looking for more value in their most complex legal work,” he said.

“The firm’s corporate practice has been going from strength to strength and I’m looking forward to playing a role in its future growth.”
